Not just art but ALL business is a conversation. Yet we have an entire generation who simply refuses to talk to other humans. I wonder where they'll go?
You’re right that conversation is the heartbeat of both art and business. The tools keep changing, but the need for real human exchange doesn’t. People eventually circle back to it when they realize nothing else quite replaces it.
Mm maybe. I have had some "exchanges" with people that really weren't conversations. I even had a guy on LinkedIn tell me he just will not meet with people because "i don't care about their problems". THAT is the category of which I am thinking. I mean, in a sense they will just go back to being wagies. But in another sense, what a waste of opportunity!
I would say such people are not likely to become prospective buyers. The ones who disqualify themselves do us a favor in some ways. We know not to expend energy on building a relationship with them.
